Modern Nomad was founded by Zack Schnyder and his mom, Victoria. Victoria is the brains behind the operation, and Zack is the braun. This mother-son pairing proved to possess a perfect skillset for building affordable, high-quality vans for those who want to explore. 

Our vans are 100% custom. No two are identical in order to match the individual needs of our clients. 

The cost depends on the build complexity. Extremely simple vans start at around $30,000. Extremely complex vans are around $75,000. Most vans fall somewhere within that range. 

We require a $2,500 deposit with a signed contract. After details are worked out, 50% is due before the build begins. The other 50% is due at delivery. 

Van build duration depends on build complexity. Typically, 6-8 weeks. 

We send weekly recaps of the work with photos to each of our clients.

Yes! Because we are a custom-centric company, we can build a van for just about every use under the sun! 

It depends on what you need help completing. For liability purposes, we are unable to offer finishing services for electrical or plumbing. However, we are able to demo and start from scratch.
